Random pearls
Dec. 10th, 2013 08:46 pm Flickr is running "your best 2013 shot" campaign, also via Twitter. So I posted one and received a handful of visitors and several "favorites". Naturally went to see who these people were. And found gorgeous account of a cos-play held in Netherlands last weekend. Photographer is a great master and people's faces are awesome. They look like if they stepped down from the classic paintings.

Then while looking through the pictures and wondering what the place is, I discovered their local football team: Kozakken Boys. Apparently Dutch were so much impressed by Russian Cossacks that liberated them from much hated French in 1813 that they decided to dedicate their football team to liberators.
